[How can I create a driver with spreadsheet template??](https://kb.alleantia.com/machine-drivers#how-can-i-create-a-driver-with-spreadsheet-template) # How to create a driver for an industrial device with Ethernet IP protocol? ## Follow these steps to create a driver for a device with Ethernet IP industrial protocol and add it to your private Alleantia Machine Drivers Library. 1. Log in and access to **[Alleantia Cloud Portal](https://cloud.alleantia.com/login/login.zul)**; 2. Click on **\** in the menu, and go to **Create \**; 3. **Download** the **Ethernet IP template**; 4. **Enter general data** in the Excel file; 5. Enter the Section names to group the variables; 6. Enter a Description for the variable; 7. Enter the Tag name of the variable; 8. Select the Section name among the ones configured in the Section Tabs; 9. Enter the Data type; 10.
